Mrs. Caroline Hickerson
Principal
Originally from Gillette, WY, Caroline Hickerson has been in education since 2007 and started with SRA in 2024. She received both her BS in biology and her MA in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Wyoming. After several years of teaching science and working as an instructional facilitator, she went on to Fort Hays State University to receive her graduate certificate in Educational Leadership and has recently earned a graduate certificate from Purdue University in Human Resource Management. Caroline enjoys being outside hiking, snowshoeing, gardening, playing with her corgis or reading a good book with a cup of tea.
noel manning - Dean of students
Hailing from Michigan, Noel Manning started his education career in 2008, joining SRA in 2026. He holds three BAs from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!), and earned his MA in Administration and Supervision from the University of Phoenix. Noel has taught middle school grades 6-8, served as Director of Curriculum and Assessment for a Wyoming school district, and program managed the WY-ALT state assessment for the Wyoming Department of Education. In his free time, Noel enjoys the outdoors, water sports, playing with his many pets, and all things tech, both digital and analog.

Dr. Lawrence Struempf - it manager/ms computer science
Dr. Lawrence Struempf grew up in Fremont County, Wyoming. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a doctorate in Instructional Technology from the University of Wyoming, as well as a master’s degree in Management from Regis University. He has more than 20 years of experience teaching Computer Science, Information Systems, and Cybersecurity at the college and secondary levels, including 18 years at Laramie County Community College and four years at Laramie High School. At Snowy Range Academy, Dr. Struempf serves as IT Manager and teaches Middle School Computer Science.
Dr. Struempf describes himself as a modern Renaissance man, with interests that range from computers and technology to fishing, hunting, music, theater, chess, working on cars, farming, building, and fixing things. He enjoys spending time with his family and his dog, attending University of Wyoming sporting events and theater performances, and cheering on Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills - with plenty of support left over for the Denver Broncos.
