Christie Roberts
Parent Member

Christie Roberts has served on the SRA Board of Directors since 2023, but was first introduced to SRA professionally in 2015.  As a local engineer, Christie provided design services for a renovation project within SRA, introducing her and her husband Mark to the learning philosophy and educational environment of the school.  When their oldest daughter was ready for kindergarten in 2016, they were grateful to draw a seat for her at SRA.  Christie's familiarity with the school has continued to grow through a couple more renovation projects, a second daughter also attending SRA, and now as a board member.  Christie enjoys being outdoors, especially riding her bicycle, no matter the weather, gardening, and skiing.

Cassie Miller
Emeritus

Cassie Miller has been a member of the SRA Board of Directors since 2017 and her daughter attended SRA from Kindergarten through 8th grade. She has lived in Laramie for 30 years and in that time has worked in special education, been a substitute in the district at every school and worked as the Director of Campus Ministry at St. Paul's Newman Center from 2002-2008.  Cassie has been a real estate broker for the last eight years and currently works at Hammontree Real Estate. Cassie enjoys serving the Laramie community and especially SRA. She believes that our teachers and staff encourage academic excellence while also showing care and compassion for our students.  The community of SRA was a great place for her daughter to thrive and her family enjoyed being involved in her education at SRA through the many volunteer opportunities available. Cassie currently serves on the marketing and development committees. While being on the board does require a commitment of time and energy, Cassie encourages parents to apply to serve on the board, as the parent run board is one of the things that sets SRA apart as a school.
