Welcome to the SRA Library page. We believe that with diligence and access to the right tools, everybody can succeed. Our library/media center staff is happy to help, so please come in often.
Many of our student resources are available on desktop computers as well as apps for iPads and tablets to allow for access right at their fingertips.
FollettShelf is a free service that provides easy web-based access to SRA's collection of Follett e-books. We currently have 20 e-books in our collection for use by students in grades 5 and up.
Browse the list of available e-book titles without having to log in. Once you decide to read or check an item out, log in using your standard SRA student username and password. If you have forgotten your username and password, please see the SRA operations manager, Margarita Rovani.
Close it Out
It's very important to remember to "close" the e-books you are reading in order to allow other students to view or check out the e-book. To close or check out e-books, click on the backpack link at the top, right-hand side of the FollettShelf Home page.
Wyoming libraries have purchased access to many resources for the use of Wyoming residents. These products range in scope from research article databases and scholarly journals to reading recommendations and language learning plus much, much more. Additionally, GoWYLD provides links to local and regional library catalogs and acts as a guide to Wyoming information in a variety of subject areas.
If you have a Wyoming public library card, you have access to the products listed on this site. If you do not know your library card number, please contact your local public library.
Just click on "Remote User Login" at the top, right side of the page. Enter your library card number and the PIN, WYLD. Then click "Authenticate Me."
Mackin Educational Resources offers a rapidly growing collection of close to 100,000 e-books for students from prekindergarten through grade 12. These e-books allow for unlimited, simultaneous, and one-book, one-user access—all hosted on the Mackin server or, in some cases, on the publisher's server. Many e-books are interactive and designed for struggling or reluctant readers.
Mackin also offers more than 40 educational databases, providing students with easy access to a wide array of research. Many of these databases include video and educator research tools, and all offer unlimited, simultaneous access.
The MackinVIA eReader app works on a multitude of tablets including iPad, Kindle, Android, and Nook. You will find it in the Apple iTunes Store and Google Play.
TumbleBookCloud Junior is a collection of videos and chapter books in categories that include e-books, read-alongs, graphic novels, videos (from National Geographic!), and audio books suitable for elementary grades.
The adjustable text sizes, full narration, and a read-along function that highlights text as it reads make TumbleBookCloud a great tool for reluctant readers and ESL students. Plus, you can switch all these options to manual so readers can read at their own pace.
